Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Review: The reason to watch this movie is because of Cesar. The special effects make him look completely real. The movie is very entertaining and has a lot of life to  it. The story the movie tells is very engaging. Definitely a movie worth watching!

Transformers: Age of Extinction

Review: I enjoyed this Transformer movie because it had different characters than the rest. The special effects and sounds are very realistic. I enjoyed how the Transformers were actually main characters this time. I didn't like how long it was, I felt like it kepts on dragging. It wasn't the best one, but I still enjoyed watching it.

Rate: I give Transformers 7 out of 10 stars!

On her way she meets a scarecrow, Tin man, and lion all hoping to get their own help. They all travel to the city to meet the Oz hoping he'll help before the Wicked Witch catches up with them.

The Wizard of Oz

Review: The movie is very old so the quality isn't the best, however, this movie is a classic. I didn't like how Oz seemed to be such a nice place to be but really it wasn't. On the other hand, I did like how it was old fashioned and classical. The adventure Dorothy has to take is one to love.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

Review: Out of all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies this one is my favorite. It was a little bit hard to follow the plot. I love this story, and the adventure they must face. This movie had a unpredictable and satisfying ending. It was a little lengthy being almost three hours long, but other than that it was a great movie.

Rate: I would give Pirates of the Caribbean an 8 out of 10 stars!

Ted

Summary: The movie Ted starts off as young John making a Christmas wish. He wishes for his best friend, which is his teddy bear Ted, to come to life. The two of them grow up together and remain best friends. Soon John gets a girlfriend and Ted doesn't seem to get much of Johns attention anymore. Ted becomes a very immature, inappropriate, and crude. Johns girlfriend Lori, thinks Johns lack of professional drive is all because of Ted. Will John have to choose between his best friend Ted, or his girl friend Lori?

Ted

Review: I found the movie Ted to be very hilarious but also very inappropriate. This movie is very unrealistic and things that happen in this movie would clearly never happen in real life. I did watching the teddy bear becoming real and what his life was like. The movie did see to have an endless middle. The ending was disappointing.

Rate: I would give the movie Ted a 6 out of 10 stars!

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Movie Poster

Review: This movie is definitely a classic. Since it is a very old movie the quality isn't the best. It's a very imaginative family film. Some parts may be a little creepy for younger kids. I enjoy the journey Charlie has to go through. I like how the movie shows that hard times don't last forever.

Review: Frozen is definitely one of my favorite animated Disney film. It is not one of your average fairy tales. What I like most about this movie is that it teaches you that you don't need a man to rescue you. The animations, songs, and the story itself keeps the movie going. Its a great movie for all ages.

The dangers of outside force them to survive with what they have left in the house. Soon enough they become annoyed with each other and some face the world on their own. What dangers will they have to face? Will they become rescued or will the apocalypse end?

Review: This is The End didn't have the best storyline but overall it was hilarious. I loved how you never knew what they were going to say or do next. It was funny watching what friends would do if they were together during an apocalypse. The best part of the movie was how every actor/actress played themselves making the movie very original.

Rate: I would give this hilarious movie an 8 out of 10 stars!

The Amazing Spiderman

Will something in the lab change Peters life forever? Peter will discover his powers and be able to use them against the people trying to stand in his way. Will Peter become a hero?

Review: This was the first Amazing Spiderman and my favorite one. I liked this one because it showed the story of how everything all started. This movie was fun, and more touching than the other Spiderman's. The special effects were great. I loved how spider man flew from building to building and how it looked so realistic. It was nothing too great, just a typical Spiderman movie. Get ready to be caught in a web of adventure!

Rate: I would give The Amazing Spiderman a 7 out of 10 stars!

She soon finds herself more and more lost. Alice then meets the Queen who has a very bad temper, threatening to behead anyone who doesn't do exactly what she says. Will Alice be stuck in Wonderland forever? Will she ever find her way back home?

Review: Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite classical movies. It is an older movie so the quality isn't the best. It has a very mysterious and creative story. You never know what more trouble Alice will get herself into next. It kept me entertained the whole time. Although, it was predictable that it would have a happy ending. This is a great movie to watch with the whole family.

Rate: I give the classic, Alice in Wonderland 7 stars out of 10

The Hunger Games (2012) Poster

Review: The Hunger Games is a very exciting movie filled with thrill. Jennifer Lawrence plays a very impressive role as Katniss. It reminded me of something in the future. I am a teen so I can relate how I would feel going into the games. I don't think I would survive. This movie wasn't just about killing each other, but also Katniss relationships with every one. I enjoyed watching her make friends and enemies. The game felt very magical and real. The violence made it feel very real and I always wanted to know what was going to happen next.

Rate: I would give the Hunger games a 9 out of 10 stars. I really enjoyed this film.

Twilight

Summary: In the fantasy film Twilight, Bella Swan a young teenager moves in with her dad. She starts a new school and life. Bella lived an ordinary life until one day it all changed. She meets Edward Cullen, and finds out his secret. Hes a vampire. He isn't the kind of vampire who wants to suck every ones blood. His family and himself are much different. They quickly fall in love and face challenges between there "impossible love". Soon Bella is threatened by other blood thirsty vampires. Will Edward be able to save Bella from them? Will the disapproval from their friends and family separate them?

Review: If you love anything to do with vampires then you'll love the Twilight sagaOut of all the Twilight movies this one, which is the first one is my favorite. I like this one the most because it shows Bella and Edward when they first fall in love. Robert Pattinson and Emma Stewart played their parts together very well. I think the special affects on the vampires and the wolves look very realistic. The only thing about this movie I didn't like was the fight scenes. They lacked intensity and when they flew up and down it looked very fake. Otherwise this was a great movie with a fantastic story line.

Rate: I would give Twilight a 8.5 out of 10 and I would definitely recommend it for the whole family.

Harry Potter

Harry Potter is my favorite movie series. The movies are all based on the books by J.K. Rowling. My favorite movie out of all eight of them is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Summary: In this movie its Harry's third year at Hogwarts. He starts having trouble at home and runs away only to find out he's in more trouble than he thought. Serial killer Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban and believed to be coming after Harry. The castle is far from safe so Dementor's are sent to guard it, but are they really helping or hurting Harry more? In this year Harry will learn things about his past that will help him in the future. Harry soon starts looking for Black in order to get revenge. Who will find who first?
Review: If you liked the first and second movie you'll love this one too! I enjoyed this one the most because there is new locations, characters, creatures, and conflicts. As the movie goes on it just gets better and better. The effects are amazing. The Dementors and the creatures all came to life and looked so real. During the Quidditch match there's a thunder storm and it felt almost as if I was there watching Harry fly through the clouds and rain.

Rate: I would give this Harry Potter movie a 10 out of 10 stars. I loved it!
